You can find our travel office at house 1-9-922 in the Postal Colony area of Hanamkonda. It’s not a very big place, just a room with a few chairs for people to sit while they talk to us about where they need to go. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, checking on vehicle availability or talking to drivers who are out on the road. Hanamkonda can be a real mess with traffic, so we are always looking at the clock to see if the cars will make it back in time. We have a few vehicles that we keep as clean as we can, though the dust around here makes that a constant battle. The drivers are local men who know every shortcut and back alley to avoid the main road jams. Sometimes we are booking a car for a wedding party and other times it’s just someone needing a ride to the railway station or a nearby town. We keep the keys on a board by the window and there’s always a map or two spread out on the desk. It’s a lot of coordinating and making sure there is enough fuel in the tanks for the next trip. We don’t have a big corporate setup, just a simple way to help people get from one place to another. It keeps us busy from morning until late at night, especially during the festival seasons when everyone wants to travel.
