Tata A/C Services

Tata A/C Services operates out of House Number 1-40 in Dasaripally. This is where we keep our ladders, gas cylinders, and toolkits. Most of the time we are not even at the house because we are out at someone else’s place fixing their cooling units. The heat in this region can get really bad, so people get worried when their AC stops working. We spend a lot of time on rooftops or leaning out of windows to get the job done. Our clothes are usually covered in dust and grease from the machines. It is not the cleanest job, but it is necessary. We don't have a big fleet of vans or a call center. It’s just us answering the phone and heading out to Dasaripally or wherever the work takes us. Being at 1-40 is our home base. We keep a record of who called and what needs to be fixed. Sometimes it is just a simple cleaning, and other times we have to replace parts that have worn out. We don't use any complicated words to explain what is wrong with the machine. We just show the customer the problem and get to work. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and it keeps us busy during the long hot months of the year. We just try to get to everyone as fast as we can when the temperature starts climbing because we know how uncomfortable the midday sun can get inside a house.
