Srinu Milk Products

Srinu Milk Products is located at H. No -2-61/1 in Bojjannapeta. We are out in the Narsimhulapet area, so it’s very much a village setting. Our day starts extremely early, usually way before the sun comes up. That’s when the milk starts arriving. We have the cans lined up and we have to check everything and get it cooled or processed. It’s a wet and messy job, and the floor is almost always damp from the washing and the splashing. We don't have a big corporate factory, just a local setup behind the house. The smell of fresh milk is everywhere. We work with the local farmers who bring their stuff in on cycles or small autos. Sometimes the cows are stubborn and things take longer than they should. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment because that’s the most important part of dealing with milk. It’s a quiet life in Bojjannapeta, but the work is constant. We don't really take holidays because the milk doesn't stop coming. We have a few people from the village who come and help us with the heavy lifting and the packing. It’s a simple routine that we’ve followed for years now. We just do our bit to get the dairy products ready for the people around here. It's a lot of physical work, but it's what keeps us going in this part of the district. We stay busy until the last can is gone.
