This is the shop at house number 2-12-14 in Vidhyranypury. We are a mechanic center, so you can expect grease and the smell of oil. We spend most of our time bent over engines or fixing parts. It’s noisy because of the tools and the bikes running. The floor is stained with years of work, no matter how much we scrub it. Customers come in with their problems, usually sounding worried about their vehicles. We just take a look and see what can be done. It’s not a fancy place with a waiting lounge and a TV. People usually just stand around and watch us work or go get a tea nearby. Vidhyranypury is a busy neighborhood, so there’s always someone coming by for air or a quick check. We have our tools hanging on the walls and spare parts in the back bins. The light isn’t always great in the evening, but we have some good lamps to see the small bits. Srinivasa Mekanic Sarvis Senter has been here for a good while. We know the regulars by their cars or bikes. It’s hard work on the back and the hands, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next job to pull up. There is a small radio in the corner that we play to keep things lively while we work on the gears. The bell on the door doesn't work so just shout when you arrive.
