Sri Raviteja Enterprises

Sri Raviteja Enterprises is situated right on S.V. N. Road in the Battala Bazar area. If you know the bazar, you know how crowded it gets with shoppers and carts everywhere. Our shop is nestled between a cloth merchant and a small grocery store. It’s a narrow space, so we have to use every inch of the walls for storage. We’ve got shelves reaching high up, and we use a long stick with a hook to get things down sometimes. The front of the shop is open to the street, so we hear all the haggling and the shouting of the vendors outside. It gets a bit chaotic, especially on market days when you can barely walk through the crowd. We don't have a lot of space for people to sit, so customers usually just stand at the counter while we look for what they need. The lighting is a bit dim towards the back, and we use a few tube lights that flicker occasionally. We keep our accounts in a set of red books and use a basic calculator for the math. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it has worked for us so far. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share a pot of coffee or tea in the slow hours of the afternoon. It is just a regular local business trying to stay organized in a busy market. We’ve been here for years and the routine hasn't changed much.
