Sri Ganaga Water Plant

We started Sri Ganaga Water Plant here in Gundlasingaram because we saw how much people in B. B Colony needed good water every day. It's just a small setup at H. No. 5-28, nothing too fancy. We spend most of our mornings checking the filters and making sure the cans are clean before they go out. It gets really busy during the summer months in Hanamkonda, sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and we are just trying to keep up with the cycles. My nephew helps me with the loading sometimes when it gets heavy. We've been at this spot for a while now and most of the neighbors know us by name. It’s not an easy job, standing on your feet and dealing with the wet floors all day, but it’s what we do. We try to keep the machinery running smooth so there aren't any delays. If you walk past the house, you'll probably hear the hum of the motors. We don't have a big office or anything, just the plant area and a small desk where we keep the logs. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to adjust our schedule, that's just how things are around here in Warangal. We just focus on getting the water ready and making sure the cans are filled right. It’s a simple business, really. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and start the process. That's our daily life here.
