We are located right on Ramakrishna Mutt Road in Mylapore. It is a very old and busy part of Chennai, known for the temple and all the shops nearby. Our office is at number 218/9. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with the buses and the people walking to the tank. Being Spac Power Engg I Pvt Ltd, we deal with a lot of engineering matters, mostly related to power. The office is often full of diagrams and technical papers scattered across the desks. It is not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The ceiling fans are always going because of the Chennai heat. We hear the temple bells and the traffic noise all day long. It is a lively place to work. We spend a lot of time talking to technicians and coordinating site visits. Sometimes we have to go out into the heat ourselves to check on equipment. It is practical work that requires us to be on our toes. We don’t have a fancy reception desk. Usually, you just walk in and find someone at a desk. We’ve been in Mylapore for a while and we like being in the heart of the city, even if the parking is a nightmare. It feels like a real community here. We just focus on the engineering tasks and getting through the daily list. We don't have much time for formalities and just stay busy with the technical drawings.
