Being in the Eight Incline Colony means we are right near where a lot of the actual work happens. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from the area but it’s where we need to be. The office is pretty simple and we don't spend money on fancy decorations or anything like that. We just have what we need to get through the day. There are a lot of us working here and we all have our specific tasks to handle. It can get pretty loud sometimes with all the activity nearby but you get used to the sounds of the colony after a few weeks. We don't really have a big fancy story to tell. We just do our shifts and make sure everything is handled the right way. It’s steady work and it keeps a lot of people busy around here. The weather in Andhra Pradesh can be tough but we just keep going. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words, we just want to make sure the work at the collieries is getting done like it’s supposed to. It’s a very grounded way to spend the work week.
