We do binding services out in the Ip Expansion area of Madikonda. It’s part of Warangal. If you come by, you’ll see stacks of paper everywhere and the smell of glue is pretty strong. We have these old machines for stitching and cutting that have been with us for years. They make a lot of clicking sounds when they are running. Binding is one of those jobs where you have to be careful with the edges. We get all sorts of books and documents that people want put together properly. It’s a lot of sitting and aligning pages. Madikonda is an industrial area, so there are always trucks moving around outside. Our workshop is simple. We have a couple of large tables for sorting and the machines are tucked into the corners. It gets a bit dusty with all the paper scraps on the floor, but we sweep up at the end of the day. We aren't a big printing house. We just focus on the binding part of the job. It’s steady work, especially when the school season starts and everyone needs their registers or notebooks fixed. We just put our heads down and get through the pile. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps the bills paid and the local shops supplied with bound books. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big batch for a local school or office.
