Sarojana Buffaloes Farming

If you come to Nagurlapally, you’ll find me at Sarojana Buffaloes Farming. My house is number 2-81. It sits in the Madannapet area near Narsampet in Warangal. Dealing with buffaloes is a full-time job and they don’t care if you’re tired. They need feeding and milking early in the morning. It’s messy work. My clothes usually smell like the barn, but that’s just how it goes when you live this way. The buffaloes have their own personalities, some are calm and some are a bit stubborn. I’ve spent my whole life around animals. In Warangal, the weather can be tough on them, so we have to keep a close eye on their health. I don’t have a desk or a computer for this. My office is the yard and the stalls. The neighbors in Nagurlapally are good people. We see each other on the road to Narsampet often. There’s no point in making things sound better than they are. It’s hard work and it makes your back ache. But when the milk is ready and the animals are fed, there’s a kind of peace to it. I’ve stayed at this house, H.No:-2-81, for a long time. The gates are old and they creak. My day ends when the sun goes down and I’m usually too tired for much else. It’s just me and the buffaloes out here in the quiet part of the district.
