Saint Poet Bammera Potana Smritivanam Foundation

Warangal is a place with a lot of history, and we are right in the middle of it. Our office is at 1-1-894 in Siddarth Nagar, near the REC Post. The Saint Poet Bammera Potana Smritivanam Foundation looks after the memory of the poet Potana. We aren't a big government department with a massive budget. We are just local people who care about our culture and the history of this land. Most of our days are spent looking after the Smritivanam area and making sure people remember the poetry that came from this region. It’s quiet, steady work. We don't have a lot of fancy technology or modern gadgets. Just some old books, some records, and a lot of interest in what we do. The 506003 area is where we grew up, so it feels right to be working here. Sometimes students come by to ask about the poet's life, and we tell them what we know. It’s not a formal school or anything like that. Just an honest effort to keep a legacy alive in Telangana. The office in Siddarth Nagar is simple and functional. We have a few chairs and we drink a lot of tea while we talk. We don't spend money on advertising or shiny signs. We just focus on the garden and the memory of the saint poet. It’s a practical way to spend our time. If you’re ever near the REC Post, you can usually find us there. It’s a nice place to visit.
