Sadaiah Farms

Sadaiah Farms is out in Peddammagadda, which is part of Khanapur in the Warangal area. It’s a lot different out here than in the city. We spend most of our time outside, dealing with the weather and the land. It’s a lot of physical work and the days start very early, usually before the sun is even up properly. We don’t have a fancy office or a website that we check all the time. Most of our work is done with our hands. The dirt here is good, but it takes a lot of effort to keep everything growing the way it should. We have been in Warangal for a long time and our family knows these fields well. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when we need it, and other times there is too much of it, but that is just how farming goes. We have a few sheds for equipment and storage. It’s a simple life, really. People from the nearby villages know us and we often see them passing by on the road. We grow what we can and take care of the livestock we have. There is always something that needs fixing, like a fence or a tractor. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. We just keep the farm running as best as we can every season. It is hard on the knees but good for the mind.
