We are Rudramadevi Farmers Producer Companylimited, located right by the old Fort in Warangal. Our address is 16-4-223. It is an interesting place to work, being so close to the history of the fort. Most of us here are local farmers who grew up in and around Warangal. We came together to form this company so we could have a bit more say in how our produce is handled. It is not a fancy operation. The office is just a simple building where we gather to talk about the seasons and the market prices. We spend a lot of time arguing over the best time to plant or how to deal with the latest government rules. It is all very down-to-earth. We do not have a marketing department or anyone to write polished speeches for us. We just say what we mean. If the crop is bad, we say it is bad. If the price is good, we are happy. The work is mostly about coordinating between the different farmers in our group. We keep our records at 16-4-223 and that is where you will find us if you need to talk. We are not looking to become some massive enterprise; we just want to make sure the folks around the fort can keep their farms running and support their families. It is about the community and the land we have been working for generations in this part of the city.
