Rohith D J Sound Systems

Rohith D J Sound Systems is based at H. No -6-8 in Padamati Gudem, which is out in the Narsimhulapeta area of Warangal. Our home is basically where we store all the heavy equipment like the big speakers, the amplifiers, and all the miles of cables we’ve collected over the years. It is not a shop in the traditional sense. It is more of a hub where we load and unload the trucks for the different events we go to. When we are not out at a party or a festival, you can usually find us in the yard testing the gear. We have to make sure the sound is right, so the neighbors in Padamati Gudem get to hear quite a bit of music from time to time. They don't seem to mind much. This is a family thing for us, and we have been doing it since we were much younger. We don't have a big office with computers and desks. Our work is mostly physical, lifting boxes and figuring out the best way to wire a stage. It gets very hot here in Warangal, so we spend a lot of time drinking tea and planning the next trip. We are just regular people who happened to get into the sound business. There is no big mission or fancy talk here. We just check the fuses, coil the cables, and wait for the next call to come in.
