Rohit Paints

We’ve been here at 15/79-5 in Girmajipet for quite some time now. Rohit Paints is basically just us sitting among rows of cans and brushes every day. It gets a bit dusty around here, especially when the local traffic picks up outside the shop, but we don’t mind it much. Mostly, we just spend our time talking to neighbors who need a bit of color for their walls or someone who’s fixing up an old door. It’s not a big fancy showroom or anything like that. We have our regulars who come in, ask for a specific shade, and wait while we try to find it in the back. Sometimes the inventory is a bit disorganized, but we usually know where everything is. Running a shop in this part of town means you see the same faces every week. We try to keep things simple. If you need some paint, you walk in, we talk for a bit, and you leave with what you need. There’s no big philosophy behind what we do. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and get to work. Girmajipet has its own rhythm, and we’re just a small part of that daily routine. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy containers and making sure the lids are tight. Sometimes we run out of something and have to wait for a delivery, but that’s just how it goes. We’re just here doing our thing.
