Rambabu Ginger & Galic Shop

We are located at H. No -1-95/1 in Kothur, which is part of Khanapur. The shop is mostly full of bags of ginger and garlic. It smells very strong when you walk in. We spend a lot of time cleaning the roots and peeling back the skin to make sure things look alright. It’s a small space, and we keep the stock piled up against the walls. Rambabu Ginger & Galic Shop has been around for a bit. We get our supplies from the local markets and then sell them to people here in Kothur. My hands are usually stained from the ginger juice. We use old scales to weigh everything out. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy all day. Sometimes the garlic is hard to find, or the price goes up, and we have to tell the customers. They usually understand. We don't have a delivery van, so people just come to the door. The floor is concrete and can get a bit messy with the husks. We sweep it out every evening before locking up. Khanapur is where we live too, so the walk to work is very short. We don't have a big neon sign, just the door. If we are inside, we are working. Some days are slow, and we just sit on the wooden stools and wait. It’s just a regular local shop for the neighborhood.
