Purna Enterprises

Purna Enterprises is situated at 5-67 in Komatipalli Thanda, which is over in Khanapur. It’s a quiet area and the air is a bit fresher than in the city. Our building is a plain concrete structure with a heavy metal door. We keep a variety of goods here that the local people need for their daily lives. Mangalavaripet isn’t too far away, but we are the main spot for this little colony. There isn't a lot of traffic out here, mostly just people walking or on motorbikes. Inside, we have wooden shelves that we built ourselves to hold the stock. It’s not very organized, but I know where everything is. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, so it gets a bit warm inside. We have a small battery-operated fan for those times. I spend a lot of time sitting on a plastic chair near the entrance. We don't have a computer, so all the sales are written down in a notebook with a blue pen. It’s a very slow way of doing things, but it works for us. We’ve been at 5-67 for many years. Most of our customers are our neighbors and friends from the Thanda. It’s a peaceful place to work and we just keep the doors open for whoever stops by. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery truck, but people don't mind much.
