If you live around Itikalapally in Narsampet, you have probably seen us climbing up poles or messing with the wires. We run the cable service from my house at 13/1. It is mostly just me and a couple of others trying to keep the signal steady for everyone in the neighborhood. Warangal gets some heavy storms sometimes, and that usually means a long night of fixing snapped lines or blown boxes. It is not a glamorous job, especially when you are up on a high ladder in the heat. We carry around a lot of splitters and rolls of black wire in the back of the truck. People call us when their screen goes fuzzy or the internet cuts out during a big cricket match. We get there when we can, though sometimes we are stuck on the other side of town. It is a local thing, so we know most of the families on these streets by name. We do not have a big call center or anything like that. You just call the number and we answer it. Sometimes the equipment is old and gives us some trouble, but we patch it up and get it running. It is just about keeping the TV going so people have something to watch after they get home from work. Just a small operation here in the village trying to keep the cables connected and the signal clear.
