You can find us at house number 3-84 in Gorrekunta, which is part of the Geesugonda area. Our shop is full of all kinds of metal parts, tools, and heavy items that people need for their homes or farms. We have rows of plastic bins filled with nails, screws, and bolts of every size. The air smells like iron and sometimes a bit like oil or paint thinners. It is a bit dark inside because the shelves are tall and packed with stock from the floor to the ceiling. We spend a good part of the day climbing up ladders to reach things or helping someone pick out the right length of pipe. Often, customers come in carrying a broken part and we have to dig through our boxes to find a match for them. The counter is made of heavy wood and has been scratched up over time by all the hardware we slide across it. Outside, the road is often busy with tractors and local traffic passing by. We keep a lot of our larger items like shovels and hoes leaning against the wall near the entrance. It is a dusty job and our clothes usually end up with some grease or rust on them by evening. We don't have any fancy signs, just the items themselves on display for anyone who walks in. It is just a basic hardware store serving the local community.
