Pigs Form

This is the Pigs Form out here in the Post Elkurthy area. We are part of the Geesugonda mandal in the Warangal district. It is a rural place with a lot of open space and trees. We spend most of our time outside tending to the animals and making sure the pens are okay. The work is dirty and we are usually covered in mud or dust by the end of the day. It is not the kind of job where you wear nice clothes. We have to be here every single day because the animals do not take holidays. The weather in Warangal can be tough on the livestock so we are always watching the clouds. We have a small shed where we keep the feed and the tools we need. It is a quiet life for the most part except when it is time for feeding. Then it gets quite loud around here. We do not have a big staff just a few of us who know what we are doing. The neighbors in Elkurthy are all farmers too so they understand the hard work. Sometimes we sit by the gate and watch the tractors go by on the main road. It is a long way from the city and that is how we like it. We just focus on the animals and making sure everything runs smooth on the farm. It is a lot of physical labor but it keeps us healthy. We stay busy.
