Panchayath Raj & Rural Development Department

Our place is H.No.1-6-230/17 in the R.T.C. Colony, Mahaboobabad. We are part of the Panchayath Raj & Rural Development Department here in the Warangal district. It is a bit of a mouthful of a name, but we all just call it the office. We spend our time working on things for the rural areas around here. It is basic stuff like water, roads, and village help. The office is usually full of files and people looking for some information. Being in Andhra Pradesh, specifically this part of Warangal, means we see a lot of different people every single day. We aren't tucked away in some high-rise; we are right here in the colony. The 506 101 pin code is where we live and work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just wait for it to come back while we sit and chat. It is a very local vibe. We try to help with the development projects as much as we can. It is slow work sometimes, but it is important for the small villages. There is no fancy furniture or polished floors. Just old wooden desks and some chairs that have seen better days. We do our jobs and then head home to our families. It is a straightforward government job. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now and everyone in the neighborhood knows where to find us when they need to.
