Pallavi Transport

Out here in Rampur, things move a bit slower than the big city. Our place is over in Gandhinagar, just a basic setup for the transport business. We have been working from this 7-175 address for quite some time. Most of the day is spent checking on the trucks and talking to the drivers who are coming back or heading out. It is often dusty because of the road, and the sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon. We have a couple of desks and a lot of logbooks piled up. Pallavi Transport is just a small operation really. We deal with whatever goods need moving around Govindaraopet and the nearby areas. It is not a very quiet job since there is always someone revving an engine or shouting about a delivery. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when the rains start and the roads get messy. We spend a lot of time on the phone trying to find out where a load is. There is no big reception area or anything fancy like that. People just walk in, sit on the bench, and tell us what they need moved. We usually have the radio playing in the background to pass the time. It is a lot of work keeping things organized, but we stay busy. We are just local people trying to keep the trucks running and keep folks happy without too much fuss.
