Om Sai Garments is tucked away in Waddepally, specifically over in Sapthagiri Colony. We use Plot 48 and 49 for all our work. It’s a decent-sized space in Hanamkonda where we handle a lot of fabric and sewing every single day. People around Warangal sometimes stop by when they’re in the Komatipally area. We have quite a few sewing machines running most of the time, so it gets pretty noisy. Our staff is mostly local people who have been with us for a good bit. They know how to handle the different materials we get in. It isn't always perfect; sometimes a machine breaks down or a delivery is late, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't some giant factory you'd see in a magazine. It’s a humble place with stacks of cloth and thread everywhere you look. Usually, we are busy hitting our numbers for the week. The lights stay on late some nights when we have a lot to finish. It’s just how things go in the garment business here. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy for the workers to get to. There’s no big reception area or anyone in a suit to greet you. Just a bunch of us working through piles of clothes and making sure the orders are ready to go out to the shops. It's a lot of work but it keeps us busy.
