Narsamma Vegetable Market

We have been here in Naikpally for quite some time now. Most folks in Gudur know the spot where we set up the stalls every morning. It is a busy place when the trucks come in with all the crates. We spend most of our day sorting through greens and tomatoes and trying to keep everything fresh. It gets pretty loud and messy with everyone shouting prices and carrying big bags around the market area. Some days it rains hard and we have to scramble to cover the produce with plastic sheets, but that is just how it is. We try to keep things moving so people can get what they need for dinner and head back home. There isn't much to say besides we are here early and we usually leave quite late. It is just a regular market with nothing fancy about it. You see the same faces every week, people complaining about the heat or the price of onions. We just weigh the stuff on the scales and hand over the change. Sometimes the crates are heavy and my back starts to hurt by the afternoon. We have a few stalls and a lot of mud when it pours.
