Nagu Dairy Farm

We run Nagu Dairy Farm out of our home, House Number 4-17, over in Narasimhulagudam. It’s in the Nellikudur area. If you come by early in the morning, you’ll see us busy with the cows. That’s when the real work happens. There’s no sleeping in on a dairy farm. We’ve been doing this for quite some time now. It’s a lot of cleaning, feeding, and making sure the animals are doing okay. The air out here in Nellikudur is fresh, but the work is definitely physical. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy shop. Most of the milk goes out to the local collectors or neighbors who come by with their own containers. It's a simple setup. We know every cow by sight. Some days are harder than others, especially when the rain makes everything muddy, but we manage. The house and the farm are basically the same place. We’ve lived here in Narasimhulagudam all our lives. Our kids help out when they aren't at school. It’s not a big corporate farm, just a family thing. We focus on the daily chores and making sure the milk is fresh. People know they can find us here at any time of day, usually out in the back near the sheds. It’s just what we do.
