Murali Laundry Shop

This is Murali Laundry Shop located at H. No -2-138 in Jayapuram. We are part of the Narsimhulapet area in Warangal. It is a small shop that I run mostly on my own, though sometimes I get a bit of help when there are too many bundles to handle. Washing and ironing takes up almost every hour of my day. I have been doing this for a long time now in this same spot. People from all around Jayapuram bring their clothes here because they know where I am. I have some big tubs for washing and a heavy iron for the pressing part. It gets very hot in the shop during the afternoons, especially with the steam. My house is right here too, so I am always around if someone needs to drop something off or pick it up. I keep a ledger to track who owes what, but mostly I remember the faces. Warangal is a place where people talk to each other, so I hear all the local news while I work. Sometimes the water supply is a bit tricky, but we manage to get everything clean. It is not a fancy business with big machines, just basic hand work and a lot of scrubbing. I just try to make sure everyone gets their shirts back on time and looking decent enough to wear for their work or a special event.
