M/S. Srinivas Transport

The trucks are usually parked near H.No.22-100 in Lachu Thanda. We go by the name M/S. Srinivas Transport, and we are based right here in Thorrur. It takes a lot of coordination to get everything moving on time every day. I spend most of my day on the phone or checking the truck engines to make sure they are okay. The dust in the yard is constant, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. Thorrur is a good spot for a transport business because of the roads that connect us to the bigger towns. I have a small room that serves as my main office. There are usually some spare tires and tools stacked in the corner. I don't really use a fancy computer system; a simple notebook and a black pen do the job for tracking the loads. Sometimes the drivers come in looking very tired after a long haul, and we sit and talk about the road conditions for a while. The house number 22-100 is where I first started this whole thing. It wasn't always this busy when we began. My family helps out with the small things when they have time. We don't have a lot of strict rules, just that the work needs to be done correctly. It is a rough business sometimes, especially when a truck breaks down in the middle of nowhere at night. But we manage to handle it. People know us in Lachu Thanda as the guys who keep the goods moving.
