Our place is at H.No.3-4 in the RTC Colony, right near the Waddepally Church in Hanamkonda. If you walk past the church, you can usually hear the sound of the paper being cut. We have stacks of notebooks everywhere. It’s a messy business with all the glue and the trimmings on the floor. Warangal is a place where education matters, so we stay busy. The room is a bit small for all the stock we keep. Sometimes we have to move boxes just to find a place to sit. We don't have a big storefront, just a door that stays open. People from the colony come in to buy a few books for their kids. We use the old machines that make a lot of noise. They are reliable though. My hands often have ink stains on them by the end of the day. The church bells ring and that’s how we know what time it is. We’ve been here in Hanamkonda for a good while. We don't do anything fancy with the covers, just plain and simple books that people can write in. It is a local thing. We know the parents and the teachers around here. When the school season starts, it gets really hectic and we barely have time to eat. But when it’s quiet, we just sit outside and watch the traffic go by.
