M/S. Jatothu Aruna

Jatothu Aruna is the name we use for our work here at House Number 61-1. We are located in Botimeda Thanda, which is part of Vavilala in the Nellikuduru area. It is a small place. Most people around here are farmers or do small trades. We do a bit of everything to keep the household running. It’s not a corporate office with a sign on the door. It’s just our home. I handle the day-to-day tasks myself. Sometimes the kids help with the paperwork when they aren't at school. The village life is slow but we stay busy. People come by when they need something done. We don't do any marketing. Word just gets around the Thanda and Vavilala. I’ve lived here all my life, so everyone knows my face. We deal with things in a simple way. If someone has a question, they just walk up to the house. It can get dusty during the dry season and the roads get muddy when it rains. That’s just how it is. We don’t have a big staff or fancy computers. We just use what we have and do the work. It’s about being part of the community here. Nellikuduru is a fair distance away, but we manage our errands there. We just want to keep things going steadily without too much fuss. That is how we like it. There isn't much more to say than that. It’s just home and our little spot in the Thanda.
