Motorola Authorised Service Centre

Being the Motorola Authorised Service Centre in Warangal means we see a lot of broken screens and dead batteries. Our place is in Andhra Pradesh, 506 002, and it’s usually full of people waiting their turn. There are rows of plastic chairs that aren’t very comfortable, but they do the job. We have those little numbered tickets that people take when they walk in. The air conditioning struggles sometimes when the shop is packed with customers. We spend most of the day looking at circuit boards through magnifying glasses. It’s quiet work, mostly. You hear the hum of the computers and the occasional beep from a testing machine. Warangal is a busy town, and our location reflects that. There’s always someone coming through the door with a phone that won't turn on. We have a lot of plastic bins filled with spare parts and cables. It’s a bit of a mess behind the counter, but we know where everything is. The staff here mostly keeps to themselves during the shift. We have a small kettle in the back for coffee, which helps on the long afternoons. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to do everything by hand, which is a real pain. It's not the most exciting job, but it keeps us busy. People are usually in a hurry, so we try to move as fast as we can. It's just regular work.
