Sra1 Car Taxi

We operate Sra1 Car Taxi out of Seethampeta, specifically from the house at H. No: 2-146. It’s a small village and everyone knows everyone else’s business. Having a car available here is very useful because the local bus doesn’t always come when you need it to. We started with just one vehicle and it’s still a very small operation today. Most of our trips involve taking people to the hospital, the local market, or maybe to a relative's house in another village for a function. It isn't a fancy limousine service with drivers in suits. It’s just a clean car and a driver who knows all the local shortcuts. We keep the car parked right outside the house so it’s ready to go whenever it is needed. Sometimes the phone rings in the middle of the night because someone has an emergency and needs to get to town. That’s just part of living in a place like Seethampeta. You help out your neighbors when you can. The roads can get very muddy when it rains and quite dusty when it’s dry, so keeping the car looking decent takes a lot of regular effort. We don’t have a big booking system or a phone app. People just call the number or walk over to the house. It’s a direct way of doing things and it works for us. We just want to make a living and help people get around. It’s steady work and we like being here.
