Mahankali Ashok

Mahankali Ashok is my name and this is where I work from at House Number 7-32/A. I’m located in Matedu, which is near Thorrur. I've lived in this house for quite a few years now. The business is basically just me and a little bit of help now and then. I don't have a big storefront with lights. It’s a quiet street in a quiet village. Most of my work comes from people who live nearby in Matedu. They know my family and they know where I sit. I usually start my day early. There is always a lot of small stuff to take care of before the sun gets too high. I don't use any fancy software or big machines. It's all very manual and hands-on. Sometimes the work takes me into Thorrur, but I prefer staying here in the village. I don't have a mission statement or any of those things companies usually have. I just try to finish the work that is in front of me. If someone stops by, we sit and talk for a bit. That's how things get done here. It’s a small life but it keeps me busy enough. I don't think about expanding or getting big. Just staying here and doing what I know is enough for me. Most people around here seem to feel the same way about their work. It’s a steady pace and it suits me just fine.
