Lotus Pharmacy

Lotus Pharmacy is right in the middle of Kumarpally Market here in Warangal. If you know the market, you know it is always loud and crowded with people buying vegetables and groceries. We are right there in the thick of it. It’s a good spot because people can pick up their medicine while they are doing their daily shopping. Our shelves are packed with all kinds of things because you never know what someone is going to ask for. We spend a lot of our time unpacking boxes and checking expiration dates. It’s a lot of manual work. The counter is usually busy from the moment we open the shutters. We have some regulars who have been coming to us for years, ever since we opened in this part of Kumarpally. They like that they don't have to go far into the main city. The 506002 area is quite active, and being at the market means we hear all the gossip and news from the town. Sometimes the heat gets to be a lot, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. We don't use a lot of fancy technology here, just the basics to keep track of what we sell. It’s a simple pharmacy. We try to be helpful when people come in with a prescription they can’t read or need something for a headache. That’s just the way we run things every day.
