Lotus High School

Lotus High School is located in Julai Wada, which is part of the Subedari area in Hanamkonda. Our address is right there in the middle of everything in Warangal 506001. It is a bit of a maze of streets around here, but once you find us, it feels like a quiet little island. We have a modest building where we spend our days from Monday to Saturday. Usually, the first thing we do is sweep the front area before the kids start arriving. Subedari is a nice enough neighborhood, mostly families and people who have lived here for generations. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long, from the vegetable sellers to the distant traffic on the main road. We are just local people running a local school. There is nothing very corporate about how we do things. If a tap leaks, we fix it ourselves or call the guy down the street. Our classrooms are simple with big windows and old-fashioned fans that click while they spin. The kids play out front when they have a break, and the noise is just part of the atmosphere. We are used to the dusty air and the way the sun hits the walls in the afternoon. It is just our daily life here in Hanamkonda, nothing fancy, just a place for the neighborhood children to come and spend their day. It is simple but it is what we do.
