Laxmiprasannaa Granites Mfg

We are over here in Shantinagar, Dornakal, at house number 6-2-85/1. If you come by, you’ll see the granite slabs piled up and hear the sound of the cutting machines going. Laxmiprasannaa Granites Mfg is basically a family effort. We spend our days dealing with heavy stone and making sure the edges are right. It’s dusty work and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We aren't some massive factory with robots; it’s mostly us handling the pieces and checking the patterns in the rock. Granite is heavy and tricky to move, so we have to be careful every day. People from around Dornakal come to us when they are building their homes or fixing up a kitchen. We show them what we have in the yard and tell them how it wears over time. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the shop, and other days it feels like everyone wants their order finished at once. We’ve lived in this area a long time, so we know most of the builders around here. It's a straightforward business. We get the raw material, we process it, and we send it out. There’s no magic to it, just hard work and making sure the measurements match what the customer wrote down on their scrap of paper. We just keep our heads down and do the job every single day without making too much of a fuss about it.
