Lalitha Sounds

Lalitha Sounds has been operating out of Hanamkonda for quite a while now. We are tucked away in the Julywada area, near Subedari. If you know Warangal, you know this part of town gets quite lively. Our shop is where we store all the sound equipment, from the big stage speakers to the tiny lapel mics. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we have so much gear piled up. We spend most of our mornings testing the amplifiers and making sure the cables don't have any shorts. In this heat, equipment can be finicky, so we have to keep an eye on everything. When a festival or a political rally comes up, we’re out there early in the morning setting up the poles and stringing wires across the streets. It’s physical work, and we’re often covered in dust by the time we’re done. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room; usually, if someone wants to hire us, they just find us at the shop or give us a ring. We know the local venues well, so we know which speakers work best for which hall. Sometimes we have to fix things on the fly with some tape and a prayer, but we always make it work. It’s a small, local setup, and we just like knowing we can handle the noise for any event around Hanamkonda. Our trucks are always on the move between the warehouse and the different sites.
