Lalitha Ortho Hospital

JPN Road is always noisy with bikes and cars, and Lalitha Ortho Hospital is right in the middle of all that chaos. We spend our days dealing with people who are having a hard time walking or have hurt their arms. There are crutches leaning against the walls and the sound of the X-ray machine hums in the back. The floor is tiled and we spend a lot of time mopping it because of the dust from the road. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s our place. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we eat in the small room near the back entrance. You can hear the fans whirring overhead all day long. Sometimes the waiting area gets really full and people have to stand near the door. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just have our names on the board outside. It’s a simple setup. Most people find us because they live nearby or their neighbor told them about JPN Road. We see a lot of older folks who have trouble with their knees. We just sit them down and get to work. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to families. Nothing fancy. Just a regular day at an ortho clinic. The sun hits the front windows pretty hard in the afternoon, so we keep the shades down most of the time to keep it cool.
