We are over in Labour Colony. If you know the area, you know it stays pretty busy with people moving around all the time. Our workshop is tucked in there among the other buildings. It is usually full of parts and tools spread across the benches. We aren’t the type to keep everything perfectly polished because work gets messy when you’re actually doing it. There is usually some noise coming from the machines or someone hammering something into place. We’ve been working out of this spot for a good while now. It’s a practical space. We don't have air conditioning in the main work area, so it gets quite warm during the summer months. Most of us just wear our regular work clothes and get grease on our hands. When people come by, they usually find us in the middle of a task. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with magazines. You just stand by the door and we’ll talk to you while we work. It’s a straightforward way to run things. The guys here have been doing this for years and we know the colony inside out. Lunch is usually a quick break before getting back to the afternoon shift. It isn't a high-rise office building, but it’s where we get the real work finished every single day without any unnecessary talk or complicated rules.
