Down in Dasaripally at H. No -1-18, you will find where we do our work. This is part of the Narsampet area in Warangal, which is a place we have known all our lives. Kummari Works is basically just us doing manual labor day in and day out. Our workshop is right in front of the house, which makes for a very short walk to work in the morning. Usually, there is red mud and water everywhere because that is the nature of what we do. It gets quite messy, and my clothes are always stained by the time noon rolls around. We don't have any high-tech equipment or fancy computers in the shop. It is mostly just our hands and some old tools that have been passed down through the years. In the afternoons, the sun gets really hot in Warangal, so we take a little break under the big tree near the house. Neighbors often stop by to chat or see what we are making that day. We aren't looking to become some big company; we just want to do our jobs well and provide for the family. The village is quiet for the most part, except for the steady sounds of our work. When the sun starts to set, we wash up and call it a day. It is a simple way of living, but it suits us just fine.
