Kumaraswamy Saloon Shop

Kumaraswamy Saloon Shop is my little place over in Chennaraopet at H. No:-4-212. I have been cutting hair here in the Warangal district for a long time now. The shop is not very big, but it has enough room for two chairs and a few mirrors on the walls. I make sure to keep my scissors and razors sharp every single day. Most of my customers are regulars who live right here in the village. We usually spend the time talking about the local news, the weather, or how the crops are doing this season. It is a very social place where men come to relax for a bit. I usually open the doors very early in the morning. Many of the local workers like to get a quick shave or a haircut before they head out to work in the fields. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly, so I am always sweeping it up between customers. I don't have any fancy air conditioning or expensive lights, just a basic ceiling fan that keeps the air moving. My shop is easy to find if you are walking through the main part of Chennaraopet. I have learned to be very patient with the young children who are scared of the clippers. It is just part of the daily routine for me. I take a day off only when there is a big festival or a family wedding to attend.
