Krishna Sentring Works

If you go to Bodlada in Nellikudur, you will find Krishna Sentring Works at H. No -2-42. We handle the iron poles and the wooden boards that people need when they are pouring concrete for their new houses. It is very heavy work and our hands are usually covered in rust and dirt by the end of the day. Warangal gets very hot and working outside with metal equipment can be tiring but we are used to it by now. We started this because there was a lot of building happening in the village and people needed the right stuff to hold up their roofs while the cement dried. We keep all the materials stacked in the yard and it can look a bit messy to someone passing by, but we know where everything is. My younger brother helps me with the loading and we have a small truck that takes the plates to the site. Sometimes the wood gets warped from the rain and we have to sort through it to find the straight pieces. We don't have a computer or anything, we just use a small diary to write down which site has our plates and how many days they have been there. It is a noisy job when we are loading the metal pipes onto the truck but it is good to see the houses in the village being built up one by one. We just stay busy and keep the equipment moving.
