Krishna Farming

Krishna Farming is located over in Maheshwaram, right at house 1-245. I’ve been working this land since I was much younger, following what my father showed me. It is a lot of standing in the sun and making sure the crops are getting what they need. Narsampet is a decent place to be based, but the work never really stops even on the weekends. Sometimes people ask me why I don’t move into Warangal city, but I like the air out here better. The house is old but it stays cool enough in the heat. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Usually, I am just out in the fields or sitting on the porch looking at the rain clouds when they finally show up. My neighbors are all doing the same thing, so we help each other out when a fence breaks or someone needs a hand moving heavy bags. The soil here in Maheshwaram can be a bit tricky if you don't treat it right. I spend a lot of my time just walking the rows and seeing what's happening. It’s a simple way to live, though it wears out your boots pretty fast. We just keep at it day after day because that’s the way it’s always been done. You get used to the noise of the crickets and the smell of the earth after a heavy pour. It’s just us doing what we know.
