Khali Milk Products

Narayanapur is where we handle all our milk work. We are located at H. No -1-83 in the Kuravi area. The day starts very early, usually when most people are still fast asleep. The milk arrives in the morning and we have to get moving quickly so everything stays fresh. There is a lot of cleaning involved because you can't have a mess when you're dealing with dairy. The floors get wet and the smell of fresh milk is everywhere. We use basic equipment to keep things chilled and sorted. Our space isn't very big, but it is enough for what we do. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to scramble to make sure everything is okay. People from around the village come by to pick up what they need for their families. We know most of them by name since we’ve been here a while. It’s a lot of lifting heavy cans and moving things around. By the time the sun is high, most of the busy work is done and we can take a breath. It’s a quiet kind of life in this part of the country. We don’t do much advertising; word just gets around the local area. The walls of our building are painted a simple white, though they could probably use a fresh coat soon. It’s just a practical place for practical work. We stay busy and that’s fine by us.
