Jaya Shekar Book Stall

You can find the Jaya Shekar Book Stall at H. No -6-60 in Rampur Thanda. We are located in the Suripally area of Chennaraopet. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with school books, notebooks, and pens. We have a few shelves that are a bit wobbly, but they hold the stock well enough. It gets a bit crowded inside when the school season starts because everyone needs their supplies at the same time. I spend most of my time behind the counter, helping people find the right notebook or a specific pen. It’s not a big bookstore like you see in the cities. We just have what people around here need for their kids' education and for their own notes. Sometimes I forget to order a certain item, and I have to tell people to come back in a couple of days. They usually don't mind since we all know each other in this area. Rampur Thanda is a small place, so news travels fast. We don’t have any fancy lighting or air conditioning. Just a fan in the corner and the door open to let the air in. It’s a simple life, selling books and paper to our neighbors. It’s been our family’s way of staying busy, and we plan to keep it going as long as people still need to write things down. We don't have a computer system to scan the books. I just know where everything is.
