Janakireddy Farms

Janakireddy is the one in charge at H. No:-5-11 in Khanapur. This farm is right next to the others in this part of Warangal. We have been working this soil for as long as I can remember. It is a straightforward life. You wake up, you go to the field, and you stay there until the work is done. The house number is 5-11, and that is where we store most of our gear. There is no polished image here. Our hands are usually stained with dirt and our clothes are worn out. Farming in Khanapur means dealing with whatever the weather decides to throw at us. We don't have a big team of experts. It is just Janakireddy and the family making it work. We talk to the other farmers about which seeds are working best this year. It is a community where everyone knows everyone else's business. The days are long and the work is repetitive, but it is necessary. We don't promise anything other than the fact that we are out there working every day. If you pass by the house, you'll probably see us out back. It is a practical way to live, even if it is exhausting. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep the farm running for another year.
