Indiramma Milk Products

The work starts very early in Gunnepally. We are located at H. No -C-55. You can hear the cans clanking long before the sun comes up. Dealing with milk means you can't really take many days off. The animals don't stop and neither do we. We collect the milk from the local area and get it ready. Some of it we turn into other things like curd or maybe a bit of butter if we have time. It’s always a bit damp on the floor because of the cleaning. We have to be very careful with that. Narsimhulapeta is a rural place so things are quiet mostly. Our neighbors often come by with their own jugs to get what they need for the morning tea. We know everyone’s name. Sometimes the cooling machine makes a loud humming noise that we’ve just gotten used to. It’s a lot of physical work like carrying the heavy containers and washing the equipment. My brother handles the delivery bike. He knows all the shortcuts through the fields. We aren't a big factory with a lot of trucks. We are just a local spot making sure the milk is handled right. It’s a simple life and we are usually tired by the evening. We eat our dinner and go to bed early so we can do it all again tomorrow. The work is hard on the back but it is what we know.
