Giridhar Reddy Eye Clinic

Over at 1-7-709 in Shanti Nagar, you’ll find Giridhar Reddy Eye Clinic. We’re located in the Subedari area, which is usually a pretty active part of town. The clinic isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need for checking eyes into the space we have. There’s a rack of frames near the front and the dark room in the back where we do the testing. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit old, but they’re comfortable enough for a short wait. We see people of all ages, from kids who can’t sit still to the elderly who need help getting up the steps. Subedari has its own pace, and we’re right in the middle of it. The light coming through the front window can be quite bright in the afternoon, so we usually keep the blinds halfway down. It’s a simple operation here. I spend a lot of my time cleaning lenses or writing down notes in the patient files. We don’t have any fancy bells and whistles, just the standard tools for eye care. Most of our neighbors stop by just to say hello even if they don’t need an appointment. It feels like a small community inside these four walls. We’ve been at this for a while now, and the routine of opening up and checking the equipment is something I’ve grown to enjoy quite a bit.
