Eslavath Jayamma

I am Eslavath Jayamma and I run my small business from my home at H. No. 5-30 in Peddapahad. It’s a quiet village in Jangoan where everyone knows each other’s business. I’ve lived here for a long time and decided to start this up to help support my family. Most days you can find me right here, working on whatever needs to be done. It’s not a big operation with employees and managers, just me and sometimes my kids help out after school. The work isn't fancy, but it’s steady and it keeps me busy from morning until evening. Sometimes people from the neighboring houses come over to chat while I’m working. I don't use any complicated systems, just a notebook where I keep track of everything. The house is easy to find if you’re in Peddapahad, just look for the number 5-30. I don't have a big sign or any bright lights. Life in Jangoan is simple and that’s how I run things here. Some weeks are slower than others, especially when the weather is bad and nobody wants to come out. I just take things as they come and try to do a good job for the people who come to me. It’s a modest way to live, but I’m glad to be working for myself in my own village where I grew up.
