Devender Paper Plates

Our workshop for making paper plates is located in Julywada, Hanamkonda. The address is H. No. 1-9-1326, right in the Deenadayal Nagar area. It is a busy little place where the machines are running for most of the day. We make different sizes of paper plates that people use for functions, small food stalls, and family gatherings. The Warangal district is a big area and there is always a demand for disposable plates because they are easy to use. Working in Julywada means we are close to the local markets, which helps when we need to send out a fresh batch of plates. The sound of the pressing machines is something we have gotten used to over the years. It can get quite hot inside the workshop, especially during the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and carry on with the work. We are not a large factory with hundreds of workers. It is just a few of us making sure the quality of the paper is okay and the plates come out the right shape. We stack them in tall piles and wrap them up in plastic so they stay clean for the customers. It is a straightforward business and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just make paper plates for the local community and try to keep the supply steady for everyone.
