Bixam Farms

Our place is located at house 10-63 in Khanapur. Bixam Farms is basically just us working the land every day like our neighbors do. Warangal has good soil if you treat it right. We spend most of our time out in the fields making sure everything is getting enough water. The house is right there, so work and home are pretty much the same thing for us. It gets busy during the sowing season. You have to get the timing right or the whole year feels off. We do not use a lot of complicated stuff here. Just simple tools and a lot of walking back and forth. Some years are better than others, depending on the monsoon. When the rains are good, the whole area looks green and everyone is in a better mood. When it is dry, we just have to work a bit harder and wait it out. There are no big signs or marketing here. If you come to Khanapur, you will find us easily enough. We grow a few different things depending on what the market looks like and what the ground allows. It is honest work, even if it is tiring most of the time. My hands are usually dirty by noon, but that is part of the job. We do not think much about being a business, we just think about the crops and the season ahead. Everything is plain and simple.
